The length of your first visit can vary because our team will devote the necessary time to collect detailed information about you for a successful assessment. We know that as our patient you deserve individual attention, therefore we are committed to taking the time to learn about your needs and to review your case carefully. We suggest that you allow at least one to two hours so there is sufficient time to also address your medical history.
Depending on your particular case and needs, our team may discuss different options, treatments and products to obtain your desired results. Our attentive professionals will work hard to take care of you and to find the best solutions to achieve your goals in a prompt and safe manner.

Clinical Evaluation
At Quirantes Orthopedics we are committed to providing the utmost level of care and attention to our patients above all. For us, it all starts with a thorough clinical evaluation, which is the foundation for determining the problems our patients are facing. Depending on the particular condition our expert staff will conduct a series of analysis on the patient that may include a gait analysis to study mobility, stability, strength, muscle action, control and coordination among others. In addition, other evaluations may apply to treat each individual case as needed, especially those involving fittings for post mastectomy products, diabetic care or for custom fabrications.
We understand that some of our patients have suffered life-changing experiences, and that their lives have suddenly or radically changed. Our approach is to treat each patient with honesty and to help them realize that adjustments in both their lives and lifestyles will have to take place. During our evaluation we will learn about our patients’ past and current lifestyles, physical conditions, aspirations, social needs and requirements in order to determine what is the best and most suitable product or treatment to help them reach their desires and goals.
Throughout the years we have seen that in many cases patients did not receive the right care or the right product for their particular needs before coming to us. When those patients arrive at Quirantes Orthopedics we are committed to working arduously to change those past experiences, to giving them the attention and care they deserve, the tools to promote and facilitate an active and normal lifestyle and to establishing a long-term relationship.
We are happy to mention, that in most cases our patients walk out of our facility with a solution in hand the same day. We are devoted to working closely with their health care providers to ensure that we dispense the product and treatment that will best suit their anatomy, health condition, needs and unique preferences.
