Our practice M. Quirantes Orthopedics Appliances, INC., offers state of the art prosthetic–orthotic care for children and adolescents with limb loss or orthopedic impairment.

We are trained and certified to custom manufacture and fit upper and lower extremity pediatric orthotics, and we are happy to work with your child’s primary doctor to ensure he or she receives specialized attention for his or her particular condition and needs.  Some of the products we offer include, Pediatric WalkAide System, specifically designed for children and programmed to stimulate the nerve to lift the foot.  This product provides a more natural, balanced and safer gait and delivers the child the confidence needed to be active on any surface.  In addition, Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis (KAFO) to treat knee instability, Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) to treat muscle weaknesses, Tuning Ankle Orthosis (AFOs) to accommodate leg and foot spasticity, UCB Foot Orthosis that provides stability of hind-and-fore-foot among others and Supra-Malleolar Orthosis for flexible, flat or pronated foot, Thoraco Lumbar Sacral Orthosis (TLSO) to correct spinal curves or for support, Foam and Plastic Hip Abduction Orthosis, Wheaton Braces and many other devices that will be dispensed depending on your child’s needs, condition, goals, aspirations and dreams.
